So we had boxes again all over the place, the guys started collecting the furnitures and placing the to their future places, then they've even started unpacking the boxes... They stayed until around 3 pm, at that time all the furnitures where unpacked and probably 50% of the boxes were emptied. And that's where our part really began, for 3 days I've been working day and night, so that we could have a house, which looks like a home, as fast as possible.... not exactly the funniest days for Soffi though...
We ended up with a beautiful house, in a week we have found a place for almost everything, hang every picture on the walls, which doesn't only take a hammer and 2 good eyes, but you had to drill each and every one of them, since these walls are really made of stone!

We have this typical arabic detail, kind of in the middle of the living room, with the two washbasins - which is right next to a bathroom, so it doesn't exactly make sense:
So it's right next to this bathroom:

The kitchen, well it is not the most modern one, but we have everything what we need in it, and it's nice and spacious:
The stairway:There is kind of a balcony on the first floor, if you look down from there, you'll see this:-)

Soffi's bathroom, which she is obviously not using:-) This is the 'office', behind this is the balcony I've mentioned:
I don't have any pictures of the compound, but all in all it's beautiful, probably the best compound in Doha. It's older than the rest, and that's why greener and more quiet. We like it indeed!
